Every existing productivity app forces you to decide what category your thought is before you capture it. Is this a task? A reminder? A journal entry? Something to remember about a friend? That decision is friction, and friction means thoughts get lost.

Enkily removes the decision entirely. You speak (or type) one rambling thought. Enkily's AI extracts every actionable piece, classifies each as a task, reminder, calendar event, journal entry, or memory, and routes them in parallel: tasks to Apple Reminders, events to Calendar, memories to a searchable internal archive. Later, when you ask "what was that thing I said about Sarah's restaurant," Enkily pulls it back.

Named after Enki, the Sumerian god of wisdom, water, and creation , the app is built for anyone whose mind moves faster than any single-purpose app can keep up with. It's especially useful for ADHD users, busy parents, founders, and anyone who has ever forgotten an important commitment because they didn't have time to file it correctly in the moment.

Voice transcription happens on-device using Apple's Speech framework. AI parsing runs through a Supabase Edge Function powered by Claude. Captures sync to your private Supabase account; nothing is sold or used for model training.

Jimmy Hackett is a Houston-based founder and senior software engineer. He runs Playground Giants, a consulting and product studio, and has spent the past two years building a portfolio of personal-automation systems for himself, content pipelines, intelligence digests, founder metrics dashboards, automated marketing operations.

Enkily is the consumer-facing version of a problem he kept hitting in his own work: human memory and intent are messy, parallel, and rarely fit into a single category. He'd built "jimmy-ops," an internal automation platform that ranks, summarizes, and routes information for his own decisions every day. Enkily applies the same principle, one input, many destinations, to the universal human problem of remembering what matters.

His other projects include ReplySequence (a post-meeting email layer for Fireflies, Granola, and Zapier integrations) and BrilliantNerd (an AI screenshot-to-code platform now repositioning into agent QA). Enkily is his first native iOS build.

On-device voice recognition finally works. AI parsing is fast and cheap enough to run on every captured thought. EventKit and Reminders integration on iOS 17+ allow apps to write directly into the surfaces users already check.

The technical pieces have arrived; the cultural moment is right. Productivity tools have spent fifteen years telling users to think harder before they capture. Enkily inverts the contract: capture however your mind actually works, and let software do the sorting.
